The summer school offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of a community with the increasing tendency to live in new, isolated homes located in the periphery rather than the village center. Students will be challenged to create a proposal based on an initial field research of their interest. The exercise is about designing a bouquet of elements for the village and the abandoned houses, including the private space, the public space, the community, and the process itself. The focus is on the individual components that make the village an entity. The students will identify the ingredients necessary for a bottom-up reactivation that transforms the village into a lively neighbourhood.
