Overview
In this module, participants develop a social innovation to address a complex societal challenge. They collaborate with partners from the for-profit and nonprofit sectors who aim to create social, societal, and sustainable value for their target groups by addressing specific problems. Design thinking serves as the guiding methodology for innovation development. This iterative, process-oriented approach focuses on the needs of users and other stakeholders. Working in interdisciplinary teams and drawing on diverse professional perspectives, participants generate innovative ideas and develop concepts and prototypes for a new (social) process, product, or service.
